Longer school day, way to go

I applaud Governor Mitt Romney's proposal for longer school day.
"Learning should last well into the afternoon, not end at 2 o'clock,"
Absolutely. My classes ends at 4 PM when I was in elementary school.
And please, governor, how would you fund it?
