Pivotal point

Israel's withdrawal from Gaza and the northern West Bank will prove to be a pivotal point, at least for me. Up to this point, I have been sympathetic to Palestinian and critical of Israel. Now that Israel has made a great peaceful gesture. Yes, Palestinians should celebrate, but they should also start the peace process and rein in Hamas. Sharon has shown the world and convinced at least me that he's serious about peace. Abbas has to show the same thing. I am disappointed that Abbas said Gaza withdrawal only 1st step, but nothing about what he would do about Hamas.
